Sorry to announce that We have lost another classmate. David Jefferson, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

David Wayne Jefferson, age 56, of Smyrna, TN, and native of Bowling Green, KY, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. David was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he served on the usher board and was a member of the choir. David was a 1978, graduate of Warren Central High School, and he served in the United States Air Force where he retired Master Sergeant after 23 years 
receiving many honors. David continued his work with the United States Airforce with the Department of Logistics. Jazz music was a favorite of David’s, he loved to watch football games, nice cars, and loved to dress, when he was younger he spent hours drawing and became very good at it. David would always encourage people to read their bibles. David and Natalie Gray united in marriage June 21, 1999, in Hampton, Virginia. 

David was born October 23, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska, a son of the late Sterling Jefferson and is survived by his mother Rosie Humble-Jefferson of Alvaton, Kentucky.

David is also survived by his wife: Natalie A. Jefferson of 
Smyrna, Tennessee. daughter, Tanechia (Ryan) Jefferson-Woodard, Bowling Green, Kentucky; brother, Pastor Kenny ( Faye) Jefferson, Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Saundra (Rowlando) Birch, Danville, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Yvonne (Terry) Potter, 
Viola (Eldon) LaRue, George (Rae) Massey, James (Tammy) Massey and Virginia Daniels; mother in law, Genevieve (Charles)Roan; father in law, Earl (Lillian) Roberts; sister and brother in-laws, Felecia Johnson, James Gray, Allison Sweeney, Angela Gray and Veronica Gray; and a host of many special friends.
